Mr. Walter R. "Bro Bob" Montgomery, age 72 passed away April 27th.
He was retired from US Army Reserves, and life time servant of thethe Lord and a retired minister of the Christian Church last serving as minister of New Washington Indiana Christian Church and volunteer chaplain of Zoneton Fire Dept.
He is survived his wife, Lillian Joyce Montgomery; a son Les Geralds; daughters, Bonnie Prechtel, Dawn Callicoat, Robin Wilson (Todd) and Mary Beth Montgomery; brother, Bill Montgomery; a special sister in law,June Ballinger; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony 10 am Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation 1-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
