Walter Mullins, 68, of Louisville, passed away on July 15, 2015. Walter was a proud Army veteran. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and western movies. His passion was music, including playing, buying and selling his guitars.
Walter was born in Haysi, VA on October 25, 1946 to the late Jack and Bertha Mullins. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen Lee Mullins; daughters, MaLinda Lee Scantling and MaLisa Lee Mullins; brothers, Clayton Mullins and Griffin Mullins; sisters Kathy Wright and Alene Bray; and 5 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren who were his inspiration.
The family will greet friends from 9:00am to 10:00am Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Graveside services with military honors will follow at 11:00am in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central in Radcliff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hosparus.
