Paris, Walter James "Jimmy" Sr., 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 10, 2016.
He was a Navy Veteran and a former welder. Jimmy loved fishing, wood working, Motown music, science fiction movies and westerns, and a nice tall glass of iced tea.
Jimmy was friendly, kind and easy going by nature. He will be truly missed.
Jimmy was born on December 25, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Dorothy Paris. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Greenwell.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Elaine Paris; children, Jennifer Dempster (Jason), Jason Paris (Kathy), Walter James Paris, Jr.; siblings, Betty Jackson, Karen Maupin (Ronnie), Robert Paris, Jr.; grandchildren, Roman, Charlotte, Eugene and Molly.
Memorial visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). A Graveside service will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 1 p.m.
