Walter Kenneth Elmes

Walter Kenneth Elmes, age 73 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. Walter was born September 11, 1945 in Summit, NJ. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's Degree. Walter served in the Army and worked for and Arabian oil company, Aramco, for 8 years. Subsequently he worked locally for Derrick Engineering for about 30 years. Walter was a faithful and loving husband. He enjoyed a quiet life with his wife of 45 years. Walter was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Marjorie Elmes.

Walter is survived by his beloved wife, Young Kim Elmes; daughter, Christina Werber (Matthew); grandchildren, Ruby and Jacob; brother, Robert Elmes, Jr. (Fran); sisters, Karen Elmes Mendez and Virginia Elmes Mills; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12 - 1 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Walter's life at 1pm.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans Association.
