Walter Bordus, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020.
He was born on December 6, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Mattie Jane (Pew) Fuller. He is also preceded in death by his son, Marcel Bordus and brother, Charlie Brown.
Walter attended White Water College in Wisconsin to become a nurse. He had a passion for cooking and was a Chef by profession. He loved cooking for others and enjoyed preparing a good barbecue. Affectionately known as Walt Baby Love, he was charming, dressed to perfection, and enjoyed being social. He was very proud of his family, he enjoyed relationships, fine cars and clothes. He lived his life and finished well. We enjoyed you and will miss you Daddy! Thank you Jesus for giving Dad to us and for finishing the good work you begun in him!!! We Love You…Family
Walter is survived by his children, Shanette Bordus, Xavier Bordus, Vanessa Bordus, Pleashette Baldwin, Christel Bordus, grandchildren; Ayinde Bordus, Brianna Bordus, Khalil Bordus, Kemari Bordus, Kamiya Bordus, Tyrion Bordus, Kamari Bordus, Christian Bordus, great-grandchildren, Kayden Bordus.
A Celebration of Life Service for Walter will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 am at: New Life Church (3402 Goose Creek Road Louisville, KY 40241).
