Wally was the epitome of a family man. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his precious babies, Elizabeth & Lincoln. From days at Greenwood Road Splash Park, to Kerrick's Play Place' to playing video games with them on his Nintendo Switch. They were his everything.
Wally loved his family and enjoying talking about his passion for video games with his brother Logan and talking to his sister Lindsay about books and movies they both appreciated and spending time with his kids together. Wally was always ready to talk to his dad about their favorite football team the Indianapolis Colts, making sure he always reminded him what time the game was on TV. One of Wally's happiest times was making his mom a grammy. He was over joyed when he placed Elizabeth in her arms for the first time, and then again with Lincoln.
Wally met the love of his life, Crystal, while just in middle school. After going their separate ways for high school, they soon reconnected. Building their life together was top on his list of priorities.
Having a zest for life, Wally had his hands in all sorts of fun. His perfect Saturday was heading to Iroquois Park with his tag-a-long Elizabeth in tow, to hit the Frisbee Golf Course with his buddy Nevitt, showing up his dad skeet-shooting always put a grin on his face. All things VW were another one of his joys. Wally loved the Sci-Fi show "The Expanse" so much that he moderated a Sub-Reddit chat room on it. One of his happiest times was when he was invited to the show's wrap party in NYC where he met the stars of the show and hobnobbed with the cast and crew.
Wally started at UPS in 2004 in the HUB unloading cans. He loved UPS and soon became a supervisor training new employees, something he excelled in. He then took a position on the airline side of the company doing graphic design for airplane manuals, working his way up to a Senior Technical Writer.
Wally left on impact on everyone with whom he came in contact. His big smile, generosity, and good nature will leave an impression on all. Wally will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
