Wallace Fulton Wheeler, age 79, of Louisville, passed away 6-18-2021. Wally was born 12/15/1941 in Middletown, KY to Fulton and Clara Jones Wheeler and was the youngest of 11 children.
He is remembered with love by his second wife, Nancy, his children Mark and Jennifer, his stepdaughter Nisha and 4 grandchildren.
Wally graduated from Eastern High School, briefly attended Morehead College and after serving in the Marines, received an honorable discharge in 1966. He married Linda Denham and then divorced in 1988. He worked as a programmer for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. for 40 years and retired in 2004. Wally was a kind man who loved Las Vegas, mysteries and unexplainable phenomena. He will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Middletown Historic Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to The American Lung Association.
