Vong Chomchanpheng

Vong Chomchanpheng, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Vong loved being outdoors fishing and tending to his garden. He served in the military for many years with honor and courage. He always loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids creating memories to last a lifetime. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed creating and building every chance he got. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on February 1, 1951 in Laos, Saravan to E. and Dang Chomchanpheng. He is preceded in death by his Father, E. Chomchanpheng, Mother, Dang Chomchanpheng.

Vong is survived by his loving family, Nephews, Song (Hsar Paw) Chomchanpheng, Sangkeo Chomchanpheng, Khamphet (Khamla "Joy" Nanthalasy) Keopraseut, and Bounyadeth Keopraseut, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

His Gathering and Funeral Service will be from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.
