Vivian Denise Raeuchle

Vivian Denise Raeuchle, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

She was born on October 18, 1963 at St. Mary's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky to Leroy and Phyllis (Owens) Walker. Denise was a graduate of Valley High School. She received a scholarship to WKU, but met a Jarhead, fell in Love, and saw the world. She was a talented artist and painted various murals, paintings, and seascapes across the east coast. She loved spending time with her family and her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mom and oma.
Denise was a well loved wife, mom, oma, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Phyllis Ann Walker.

Denise is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James F. Raeuchle; father, Leroy L. Walker; children, Brandon Raeuchle (Virginia Sloane), Brittany Raeuchle (Jason Samples); grandchildren, Hudson and Bennett Raeuchle; sisters, Jeanie Montgomery (Robert) and Vanessa Johnson (James); numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family that she dearly loved.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

The family requests that contributions in Denise's memory be made to the Kentucky Food Bank, Operation Smile, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
