Vivian Dever, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. Vivian was a loving wife, mom, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a selfless, hardworking, and compassionate person who always put others before herself. She cared deeply for her family and friends, she was always the first to offer help. She loved spending time with family. She was tiny but so mighty, there wasn't anything Vivian couldn't do; including changing a motor on a car. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves a beacon of light and will live in our hearts forever!
She was born on June 3, 1952 in Bronx, New York to Angelo and Margaret (Romaro) Vasquez. She is preceded in death by her Father, Angelo Vasquez, Mother, Margaret Nazareth, and Brother, Mark Vasquez.
Vivian is survived by her loving Husband of 39 years, George Dale Dever Sr.; Children, Lyle Kenneth (Adriana) Kinsman, Michael Anthony Kinsman, George Dale (Jessica) Dever Jr., Danielle Nicole (LeJuan) Hopson, D'Andra Lynn (Maurice) Coleman, and Willie Abrams; Grandchildren, Kenny Kinsman, Jacob Kinsman, Anthony Kinsman, Jayden Harper, Victoria Kinsman, Nicholas McDougle, George Dale Dever III, Jesse Dever, Brendyn Head, Kamdyn Dever, Amari Hopson, Zoey Hopson, Cory Fitch, Maurice Coleman III, MaKenna Abell, and MaKhia King; Brother, Angelo (Sharon) Vasquez; Best Friend, Patsy (Johnny) Dunn as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family requests that contributions in Vivian's memory be made to Full Gospel Church of Assenbly (13017 E Orell Rd. Louisville, KY 40272).
