Virtie M. Lambert

Virtie M. Lambert, 99, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Virtie was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma, and friend to all. She enjoyed cooking, playing games with her grandkids, gardening, and listening to her country music. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. Virtie will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on June 4, 1922 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lambert, daughter, Vickie Eddington, son, Richard Lambert, grandson, Jason Edward Lambert, and 12 siblings.

Virtie is survived by her loving son, William Edward Lambert; grandchildren, Shannon (Louie) Cecil and Jamie Lambert; great-grandchildren, Dyllin Brewer, Bryna Cecil, Trey Cecil, Rachel, Emma Lambert, Eva Lambert, and Blain Lambert; great-great-grandchild, Juno. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
