Virginia Lee(Baker) Raley

Virginia Lee (Baker) Raley, 73, of Laconia, Indiana was called home on Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born on November 11, 1941 in Missouri to John and Mary (Treece) Baker. Virginia worked as a press operator for many years. She was a Master gardner, and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Raley; a brother, Eugene Baker. She is survived by her children; Deborah Ricketts (William), Tracy Raley, Pamela Luntzel (Lowell); sisters, Betty McNeely, Wanda Cornellier, Trenda Heflin; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Ricketts and Beverly Raley.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 12 to 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with service to follow at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Sierra Club Foundation (85 Second Street Suite 750, San Francisco, CA 94105).
