Virgil Lee Kelly, Jr.

Virgil L. "June" Kelly, Jr., born April 23, 1951, in Louisville, KY to the union of the late Virgil L. Kelly, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Glover Kelly. He departed this life June 10, 2019. He joined Dayspring Baptist Church under leadership of the late Rev. O.W. McClain. He was educated in the Jefferson County School system. He worked as a youth counselor and was a jack of all trades.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Antonio DaJuan Bibb; his loving aunt, Marie "Aunt Franc" Dodds and his loving cousin, Janice M. "Aunie" Deramus.

Junie, as his family affectionately called him leaves to cherish his loving memories, sisters, Fidel Kelly Gray, Shirley Shead, Louise Lauderdale; special nephews and nieces; special cousin, Anna Rose Johnson; step-son, Curtis Lee, Sr and a host of special loving relatives, friends, including special friend, Amy Kelly who was with him to the end.

Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 5pm-8pm.
