Virgil Richmond Combs

Virgil R. Combs, 55, of LaGrange, KY, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022. Virgil knew how to have a good time doing virtually anything. He always found a reason to laugh or tell a joke. If you ever helped Virgil with something simple, he'd do whatever he could for you until the end of time. Virgil always found joy in the small things. He enjoyed the small simple things in life. He loved bright flashlights, smoke bombs and snap pop firecrackers, he always something with him just to get a laugh or smile from everyone. All he ever talked about was "a simple life", just a plot of land he could hang out on and do as he pleased. He loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing that Virgil is now at peace surrounded by light. He is and will always be so very loved by everyone.

Preceding him in death was his father, Richmond Combs; mother, Doris Mae Bault; brother, David Combs and daughter, Sheena Courtney.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer, Brianna, Devin, Jordan, Alicia, Derek, Ashley, Matt, Tristan and Heaven; wife, Jennifer; sisters, Betty, Debbie and Marie; grandchildren, Dezaray, Jarode Jr, Michael, Ryhanna, Ethan, Haileigh, Jaxson, Knox, Alyxandria, and Oaklynn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-2pm with a celebration of Virgil's life beginning at 2pm.
