Violetta Wittenauer

July 15, 1930 — January 7, 2018

Violetta Wittenauer, 87, of Louisville, KY passed away on January 7, 2018. She was born in Trieste, Italy in 1930 and came to the United States in 1952. The most important thing to Violetta was the love of her family and living life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by daughter, JoAnn Maupin.

Violetta is survived by her children, Claudio (Becky) Wittenauer, Robert Wittenauer and Rosie (Charlie) Phillips; grandchildren, Matt, Alex, Jake, Nick, Kyle, Amy, Shawn, Sheree, Sandy and Chris; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Leland, Brayan, Camen, Bren, Trish, Brooke and Clint; great-great- grandchildren, Emma and Travis, Jr. and family friend, Kevin Bohannon.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Violetta's life will be Saturday, January 13, 2018, beginning at 12pm at the chapel of the funeral home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY.
