Violet Faye Miller

Violet Faye Miller, known as Howard, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in the presence of her beloved family. Born on February 18, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, Violet was a person who filled the lives of those around her with love, laughter, and warmth.

Violet was the cherished daughter of Charles Preston Howard and Nancy Howard, who predeceased her and shaped her values of kindness and community. Throughout her life, Violet embodied these principles and became a source of strength and inspiration for her own family. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Charles "Happy" Howard and David Howard. 

She is survived by her loving daughters, Cindi Johnson and Therese Harper, and her devoted son, Michael Miller. Violet's legacy continues through her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy: grandsons Corey (Cami) Miller, Chayton Miller, and Lukas Harper, along with her great-grandsons, Carter Miller and Cass Miller, and her treasured great-granddaughters, Ella Miller, Emma Miller, and Claira Miller.

Violet's impact on her family and friends was profound. She was known for her unwavering support, wisdom, and ability to bring people together. Her nurturing spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we reflect on Violet's remarkable life, we are grateful for the love and cherished memories she leaves behind, reminding us of the importance of family, compassion, and connection. She will be deeply missed but forever held in our hearts.
