Vilma Ester Grant, age 88, of Louisville, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. She was a member of Moose Lodge #5, WOTM Chapter 573. Vilma was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Wyatt Grant; her daughter, Janice Evans; her parents, Asher and Anna Wiggington Cook; and several brothers and sisters.
Vilma is survived by her loving children, Gary Grant, Sr. (Kathy) and Ann Gafford (Dave); grandchildren, David Evans (Sonja), Steven Evans (Christy), Michael Evans (Denise), Gary Grant, Jr. (Missy) and Wendy Carnes (Doug); great-grandchildren, Courtney Grant, Devin Grant, Lance Grant, Whitney Evans, Ben Evans, Megan Evans, Brittany Evans, Brandi Dunn, John Michael Evans, Jacob Evans and Tanner Carnes; great-grandchildren, Kaya Evans, Jasper, Owen and Wyatt Dunn and Emerson Myers; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 3-8pm Monday, December 19, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral ceremony will be 11am Tuesday, December 20th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Hosparus or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
