Viktoria Maria Graham 80, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Hildegard House after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born August 13, 1941, in Strakonice, Czech Republic to parents, Adalbert and Karoline Wiltschka.
She approached everything with amazing strength and determination. At 14 she lived with a family and became a nanny for their children so she could earn enough money to go cooking school . She immigrated to America and earned her citizenship, putting herself through vocational training and became an accounting clerk. She then worked as a single mother at Amour Meat packing/Swift for 33 years until retirement doing her very best to take care of her two children. Viktoria loved music, dancing, reading, flowers and her cat Lucy. She was a fantastic cook and was well known for her delicious apple strudel and potato salad, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Viktoria was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bertel Wiltschka and sister, Ellie Milke.
She is survived by her two children, daughter Caroline Hinrichs (Matt); son, Stuart Graham; granddaughter Christina Anthony; sisters, Friedlinde Felber and Rosi Osterlehner and a multitude of nieces and nephews in Germany.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in memory of Victoria Graham to the Hildegard House,114 Adams St. Louisville, KY 40206.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 1pm-3pm with a celebration of Viktoria's life beginning at 3pm.
