Vicky Dee Whitcomb Hume age 63 of Mt. Eden Kentucky passed away on April 29, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born on January 1, 1962 in Louisville Kentucky. 

In 1980 Mrs. Hume married Terry S. Hume in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

She went to Jeffersontown High School in Jefferson County Kentucky. She worked in customer service or housekeeping for most of her life untl she became disabled. 

She is survived by her two daughters Monica and Samantha Hume. She was blessed with four grandsons, Chance, Ryan, and Jacob Rogers and Logan Hume; one adopted granddaughter Tressa Price; and two great-granddaughters, Brailynn Rogers and Addisyn Rogers due any day.

She was preceded in death by her husband Terry S. Hume; her babies Tara Noel Hume and Andrew Sherman Hume; her parents Rollie and Blanche Whitcomb; and her brothers Lonnie, Brian, and James Whitcomb. 

A visitation will take place Friday, May 30, from 1:00pm - 5:00PM, with a service to follow at 5:00pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY, 40243.  

Memorials may be made to Monica or Samantha Hume at Newcomer East Funeral Home.
