Vickie E. Powers

Vickie E. Powers, 71, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to all others who knew her.

Vickie was born on July 7, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to Abel and Viola (Constant) Snellen. She is preceded in death by her Father, Abel Brown Snellen and Mother, Viola Louise Snellen; siblings, Dewayne Snellen, Larry Snellen, Patty Snellen, Carolyn Sue Whitaker, Terry Snellen, Danny Snellen, and Michael Snellen.

Vickie is survived by her loving Husband of 50 years, Lonnie Powers; Children, Shanda Mahoney, Linda (BJ) Clemens, Rob (Duana) Powers, Darren Daugherty, and Scot (Karen) Powers; Grandchildren, Ashley (Rich Parker) Mahoney, Janet (Travis) Porter, Ben Hutchinson, Daniel Hutchinson, Nina (Allen) Marler, Schuyler Powers, Dustin Daugherty, Kristin (Joshua Willey) Daugherty, Makayla Powers, Katelyn Powers, Marcus Powers, Isaac Powers, and Darwin Powers, along with 13 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings, Karen (Jimmy) Miller, Jimmy Snellen, Charles Snellen, Bonnie (Kenny) Hart, Kim (Corkey) Hester, and Joyce (Steve) Howerton, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
