Vicki Jean (Murphy) Riddle, 63, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
She was born on July 12, 1954, in Greenville, Indiana, to Altha Louise (Allen) Cox and the late Charles Daniel Murphy. Along with her mother, Vicki is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Riddle; siblings, Euda Faulkner (Ken), Albert "Bo" Murphy, and Audrey Murphy (Cheryl); nieces and nephews; best friend, Cheri Potter (Kerry); and her four-legged companions, Holly and Nikki.
Vicki was a loving wife who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Vicki and Jim spent many years training and racing horses throughout Indiana and Kentucky. She was an animal lover and an avid reader. Other interests included collecting Painted Ponies and making one-of-a-kind bourbon balls for special occasions. She was a wonderful friend to many and will be missed by all. May her soul rest in peace.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Greenville.
