Veronica "Sue" Mefford

Veronica "Sue" Mefford , 74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 22, 2018. She retired from JCPS and was a member of New Covenant Church of God.

Veronica was born on March 26, 1944, in Evarts, Kentucky to the late Charles and Thelma Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her husband Henry "James" Mefford.

Veronica is survived by her Son, Michael James Mefford (Amy), her Daughter, Tanya Bradley (Troy), her Sisters, Freda Smith, Patsy Riggs (Gary), Debra Kinney (Jerry), and her Brother, Glenn David Osborne (Terry). Her grandchildren, Savannah, Cherith, Charity, Jessica, and Chelsea and her beloved dog Romeo. She is also survived by a host of special family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, and 11:00 am to12:30 pm on Wednesday, May 30, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 12:30 pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
