Vernon Reed Fawbush, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 14, 2016. He was self-employed. Vernon was a very fun, loving father and grandfather.

Vernon was born on October 12, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Don Fawbush and Bonnie Robinson. Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Steven Fawbush, Robert Fawbush Sr., and Cecil Fawbush; grandparents, William Cecil and Gertrude Sutherland; and aunts, Dorothy (Ronnie) Travis and Joan (Tommie) Jackson.

Vernon is survived by his children, Rachel (John) Coats, Heaven Terry, and Steven Fawbush; grandchildren, Brendan Belden, Leighton Coats, Johnny Dale Coats Jr., Shaylyn Fawbush, and one grandchild to be born in November; mother, Bonnie Robinson; fiancé, Carol; brothers, Freddie Fawbush and Donnie Fawbush; aunts,Vivian (Dan) Conell, Glenda Dennison, and Karen (Chris) Christopher; and a host of relatives and friends.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Louisville East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY, 40243) at 9:30 am. A Gathering will follow the service from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
