Vernon Paul Hinkel, age 72 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Roma Hinkel; his sister, Judy Estep; and his brother, Buddy Hinkel.
Vernon is survived by his siblings, Joyce Driscoll (Bobby), Ron Hinkle (Debbie) and Fred Hinkel (Dorothy); 14 nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 3-8 pm Friday, February 9, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Vernon's life will be 11 am Saturday, February 10th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
