Vernie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Russ Atherton, daughter, Sabrena (Kevin) McKiernan, grandson, Domanic Hernandez, five great grandchildren, Perry Hernandez, Gracie Hernandez, Peyton Hernandez, Lilly Hernandez, sister, Snow (Francis) Serda, brother, Roby (Sarah) White.
