Vernell Wayne "Hollywood" Porter Sr., 53, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019.
He was born on July 24, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Phyllis Eavon Porter, Son, Joseph Porter and Daughter, Vernisha Porter.
Vernell is survived by his loving Spouse of 2 years, Kashuba T. Lofton-Porter, Sons: Deion Mitchell, Vernell Porter, Jr., Tristan Porter, and Dwayne Porter, Daughters, Quinnisha Bumphus and La-Diamond Porter, Step-Daughter, Ambrea Vernon, Step-Son, Da-Sean Murdock, Step-Daughter, Carolyn Randolph, Step-Son, Jamal Oliver, Grandchildren: Keidra, Kedrean, Eric, and Kamrin, and Sister Phyllis Murphy, and a host of family and friends.
A gathering for Vernell's family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will follow at 1:00 pm.
