Verna Elizabeth Feather

Feather, Verna Elizabeth, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 9, 2015.
Verna was born on May 7, 1930, in Lindin, Indiana to the late Paul Gray and Ada Leonard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dumont Feather, and grandson, Matthew Harrison Feather.
She was avid U of K fan and enjoyed playing poker. Her favorite season was spring and she loved all the beautiful flowers.
Verna will be truly missed by all that knew her and loved her, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Tyson (Don), Richard Feather (Lisa), Kim Wohl (Tim), Tim Feather (Paula), and Scott Feather (Linda); 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.
A private graveside service will be held at New Ross Cemetery in New Ross, Indiana at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or The Alzheimer's Association of Kentuckiana in loving memory of Verna.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Heartland of Louisville, especially Christy and Tara for their care, support and devotion.
