Verdus Arnold White, 95, of Salem, Indiana was called home on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Verdus was born on February 7, 1919 in Corbin, Kentucky to Frank and Rebecca White. He had lived at Providence Nursing Home for the past year. Verdus was a Army Veteran and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Verdus was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Luicille (Hughes) White, brothers, Rowe White, Baxter White, Kenneth White, sister, Cotha White. He is survived by , sons, David A. White, Kermit L. White, John R. White, Robert D. White,daughter, Brenda F. White(Ashby).
There will be a memorial visitation on January 17, 2015 from 1-3PM with service to follow at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses(8409 County Line Road, Sellersburg,IN 47172.
