Vera Ann Thomas was born Vera Ann Wright on February 3, 1951 to the late Dora Mae Ladd and Lucian Grant Ridley in Indianapolis, Indiana. She passed on February 14, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Vera was united in marriage to William H. Thomas in 1975. From that union two daughters were born, Keisha Thomas and Kymberly Thomas Judkins. Vera dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized in 1987. She was in the Audubon Congregation. she loved to speak to others about Jehovah. She graduated from Male High School in 1969. Vera worked in the medical field, retiring from Norton Hospital after 48 years of dedicated service.
Vera leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband William H. Thomas, Sr., daughters, Keisha Thomas, Daughter and Kymberly Thomas Judkins, sisters, Evon (Roderick) Ladd, Karen (James) Radford and Rene (Laman) Radford, one brother, Andrew Ladd, one grandson, Lorenzo Judkins, III, one granddaughter, Lauriece-LuLu Clark, great grandson, Adreon Judkins, and a host of cousins, nieces, great nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
