Vaughn L. Hill Sr.

November 26, 1950 — June 22, 2021

Vaughn L. Hill Sr., 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Vaughn was a loving husband, dad, papaw, and friend to many. A native of Guernsey county Ohio He served his country with distinction in the United States Army during Vietnam where he was awarded the Vietnam Gallantry Cross. After completing 22 years of service he retired at Fort Knox and earned his Associates Degree and welders certification in Elizabethtown KY. He was also a member of the VFW post 1181. He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.

He was born on November 26, 1950 in Salesville, Ohio to William and Margret (Barrett) Hill. He is preceded in death by his father, William L. Hill and mother, Margret E. Marlatt; brother, Bobby Kevin Marlatt; step-father, Robert Marlatt.

Vaughn is survived by his loving Wife of 49 years, Marjorie P Hill; children, Kimberly A. (Jim) Jordan and Vaughn L. (Jamie) Hill, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacob (Nichelle) Hill, James Jordan, and Timmy Jordan; sister, Beth; Uncle, George (Shirley) Barrett. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

The family will be having a graveside service at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) Radcliff, KY on Friday July 2, 2021 at 10:00am.

The family requests that contributions in Vaughn's memory be made to Scouting of America or to the family.
