Vardie Dewaine Hall

Vardie Dewaine Hall, 68, of Louisville, passed away October 12, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1957 in Honaker, Kentucky to the late Vardie and Emogene Hall. Vardie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.  He proudly served in the US Army, 101st Airborne division.  

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Hall; his brother, Paul B Hall; and his sister, Kay Van Devender.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Kelly Schroeder (Michael), Sam Hall, Rachel Hall, Charlie Hall (Gretchen); his granddaughters, Amelia and Lucy Schroeder; his siblings, Joyce, Sharlene, Donnie, and Marlene; his nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  A celebration of Dewaine's life will be held there at 12pm, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens' Hospital.
