Vanna Bernice Dunigan, of New Albany, Indiana, died at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the age of 83.
She was born on March 6, 1938, in Pike County, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Gibson County, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Lucille (Clark) Wilder; husband, George L. Dunigan, whom she married in 1957; and her sister, Susan Tipton.
Vanna is survived by her three children; daughter, Terri of Fort Branch, Indiana, son, Michael of New Albany, Indiana, and son, Steve of Fort Branch, Indiana; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Wilder; and sister, Donna Clevenger.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation will follow in accordance with Vanna's wishes, and she will be laid to rest with her husband at New Albany National Cemetery.
