Vanessa Ann Reid, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

She was born on January 4, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Johnny Reid and Bessie J. Watkins. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Tony Watkins and Larry Reid.

Vanessa is survived by her loving daughter, Shawnethia Reid, son, Christopher Reid, son, Clifton (Lakeya) Reid, sisters, Peggy Daniels, Tonya Cannon, Renea Stevenson and Brenda Reid; and bothers Bobby Johnson and Fred Reid.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home.
