Vance Lee Herrington, Jr., 52, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Vance had a servant's heart and found joy in helping others. He was a member of Park Christian Church in New Albany.
He was born on July 19, 1965, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Vance Lee Herrington, Sr., and Bessie Graves.
Vance is survived by his wife, Debra (Longest) Herrington; sons, Spenser Herrington and Vanus Herrington; 2 sisters; and his grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Park Christian Church (2231 Green Valley Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. at the church. Cremation was chosen following Vance's wishes.
