Vance Allan Conrad, 75, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was a member of New Salisbury Golf Course and Ohio Falls United Methodist Church. Along with golf, Vance also enjoyed to bowl.
He was born on November 7, 1939 in Corydon, Indiana to the late John and Ellen (Resch) Conrad. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Conrad.
Vance is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma (Allen) Conrad; sons, David Conrad (Lora), Michael Conrad (Julie); brother, Dale Conrad (Anita); grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, and Amanda Conrad.
Cremation was chosen following Vance's wishes and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Ohio Falls United Methodist Church (917 S. Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, IN 47129).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Vance's memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
