Valerie Ann Love

Valerie Ann Love, née Lee, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on November 13, 1960, in Louisville, Valerie’s life was a testament to kindness, devotion, and generosity, touching all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Valerie was the cherished wife and soulmate of Robert Love, with whom she shared many years filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a family that was always at the heart of Valerie’s life. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her devoted children, Michael Beams and Crystal Beams; two dear sisters, Connie Broughton and Georgia Fisher; and two beloved brothers, Joseph Lee and Edward Lee. Valerie’s family was her pride and joy, and her care for them was ever-present in all that she did.

She is welcomed into rest by her dearly loved father, Robert S. Lee, Sr., her mother, Ruby Marie Lee, her sister Debbie Gajewski, and her brother Robert Lee, Jr. Their memories remain forever treasured by those who survive her.

Valerie's life was marked by a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. She was proud to work in quality control for UPS Healthcare, a role in which her attention to detail and sense of responsibility shone brightly. Her colleagues remember her as someone who brought integrity and dedication to every task.

Education was important to Valerie, and she was a graduate of Sullivan University, where she cultivated a love of learning and self-improvement that would guide her throughout her life.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Valerie took great pleasure in the simple joys of life. She enjoyed fishing, a peaceful pastime that allowed her to savor quiet moments in nature. Gathering with friends to play bingo brought her both excitement and camaraderie, while playing games on her computer showcased her playful spirit. Valerie was also an avid crocheter, creating beautiful items that reflected her patience and creativity.

Those who knew Valerie will remember her as a truly good person—someone who would do anything for anybody. Her remarkable compassion and willingness to help others defined her relationships and made a lasting impact on all who were lucky enough to call her friend or family.

As we mourn Valerie’s passing, we hold close the memories she leaves behind: her kindness, her devotion, and the countless ways she made the world brighter for those around her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
