Valerie Jeanne Rado, 60, of New Salisbury, Indiana was called home on Saturday December 13, 2014. She was born on February 26, 1954 in Louisville,KY to Leo and Kathryn Friedrich. She enjoyed making jewelry, working crosswords and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Rado. Valerie is survived by her children, Maggie Huffman(Jason), Tracy Serio(John), Amy Fiedler(Andy), Amanda Rado, grandchildren, Paige, Clayton, Barrett, Noah, Nelo, Carissa, great-grandchild, Maiah, sisters, Diane Harper(Greg), Amy Frederick, Sylvia Rogers(Gregg), brother, Christopher Friedrich.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association in Indiana or Kentucky.
A memorial visitation will be Wednesday December 17, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) from 4 to 7PM with her service to follow at 7PM.
