Tyler was born on November 11, 1986, Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lynda "Mimi" & Mitch Shirota, Martha & James Gowen.
He is survived by his parents, Greg and Lori Gowen; sister, Whitney Gearlds (Kris); and many loving, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a memorial service to follow at 12 noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
