Troy Redd

Troy Anthony Redd, 32, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Better known as "T Redd," he had a love for basketball and was an aspiring artist. Troy was a wonderful father and adored his children. He was actively involved in his community and enjoyed helping others.

He was born on March 29, 1984, in New Albany to Martean Redd and Troy Brown. Along with his parents, Troy leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Tre-von Redd, London Redd, and a daughter to be born in October; and girlfriend, Kayla Roberts. Survivors also include his siblings, Destiny Hurst and Devin Brown; grandparents, LeRoy and Jennel Brown, and Bessie Kirkpatrick; nieces and nephews, Reno, Rikki, Karlito, Lyric, and Apple; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Portland Memorial Missionary Baptist Church (3801 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40212), with burial to follow at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany.
