Travis Neal Howard, Jr., 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2015. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a retired truck driver. Travis was a member of the Teamsters Local 89 and enjoyed fishing.

He was born on October 15, 1946 in Fairfield, Kentucky to the late Travis Howard, Sr. and Dorothy (Day) Wade. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Katie Parham and Bob Howard.

Travis is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda (Hickman) Howard; children, Travis Howard, III (April), Daniel Howard (Kathryn), Leah Bower (Michael), Jerod Clapp (Amber); siblings, James Howard, Carolyn Shields (James); and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 PM to 2 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 2 PM. Cremation was chosen following Travis' wishes.
