Traci Marie Martin Dansby

Traci Marie Martin Dansby, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, she was carried home to eternal rest by her heavenly father on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Traci was a loving wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She made a commitment to Christ. She was a kind and loving person who always saw the best in others. She will long be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and infectious smile. Her life was filled with loving, caring, and sharing with family and friends.

She was born on August 3, 1979 in Louisville, Kentucky to Allen Martin and Cheryl (Cooksey) Shultz. She is preceded in death by her Brothers, Briant Martin, Dawyan Taylor.

Traci leaves to cherish her memory her loving Husband of 21 years, Charles Dansby, Children, Tranisha Martin, Kamren Martin, Kyriem Dansby, Charles Dansby, Jr., Jahiem Dansby, Father, Allen (Theresa) Martin, Mother, Cheryl (Charles) Shultz, Grandchildren, Jazmarie Thompson, Asmae Martin, Brothers, Allen (Alexandria) Martin, Jr., Keith (Laqueshia) Taylor, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2026 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, (2973 Wilson Ave.). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
