Tony Ray Chandler, 61, of Central, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with his hands. Tony's number one passion was his family, especially his fur babies.
Tony was born on January 1, 1956, in Corydon, Indiana to the late Lloyd and Iva Dell (Turner) Chandler. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, William "Butch" Humphrey, Jr., and Michael G. Chandler; and his grandson, Nikolas Hill.
Tony is survived by his loving fiancé, Ms. Diane Morgan; children, Cheryl Lynn Hill (Daryl), Daniel Ray Chandler (Misty), Anthony Wayne Chandler, and Joseph Dale Chandler; and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Ceremony held at 5:00 pm. Cremation will follow according to Tony's wishes.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. (2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037).
