Tonja Lynn (Fielder) McManus

Tonja Lynn (Fielder) McManus, 57, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026. An avid reader, Tonja cherished trying new restaurants, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially as a devoted grandmother.

Born on February 26, 1969, in New Albany, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edward Fielder and the late Sue (Logsdon) Fielder. In addition to her father, Tonja is survived by her loving husband, Kirk McManus, Sr.; her daughter, Jaylen Mukes and her fiancé, Sam Pevlor; her cherished granddaughter, Deliala Pevlor; her sister, Kristin Fielder-Shears; and her nephews, Hank and Cowen Shears.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will be overseen by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Tonja will be laid to rest at New Albany National Cemetery.
