Tonie Marie Hinton
October 31, 1957 — January 6, 2019
Tonie Marie Hinton, 61, passed away on January 6, 2019. She retired as a beautician from Fantastic Sams. Tonie was outgoing and loved to laugh. Her family meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Anthony Hinton and Doris Jean Reiter.
Tonie is survived by her loving children, Anthony (Nina Shelton) Hinton, James Woods and Elizabeth Woods; grandchildren, Phoenix, Sydney and Lucian; sister, Pamela (David) Strong; brother, Jamie Strong; nieces, Tiffany (Travis) Hall and Nicole Strong; nephews, Marty (Amanda) O'Bryan, Kyle (Laken) Strong and Brandon Strong and life-long friend, Kathy Monroe.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Tonie's life will be Friday, January 11, 2019, beginning at 1pm at the chapel of the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery, 800 Mt. Holly Road, Fairdale, KY.
