Thomas "Tommy" Joseph Grismer, age 28 of Louisville returned home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 13, 2015. Tommy is a graduate of Ballard High School and he attended St. Bernadette Catholic Church. His comical nature, bright smile and infectious laugh lit up a room. He made it his mission to ensure everyone always felt welcome and he never met a stranger. He loved to entertain children and when he was around, the carnival was always in town. He had the heart of a lion and the gentleness of a lamb. He loved to draw, paint, sing, play basketball, baseball and thoroughly enjoyed sports. His true passion was making others laugh in the moment.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Melba Lee and John Russell Hulsey; and Carmella and John Grismer.
Tommy is survived by his loving parents, Debra Jean and Michael W. Grismer; his brothers, Mickey Grismer (Sharon) and Rickey Grismer (Natalina); 3 nieces, Maribella, Caramia and Presley; nephew, Evan Michael; his cat, Midnight; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 3-8pm Tuesday, November 17, 2015 and from 9:30-11am Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral ceremony will be 11am Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the funeral home.
