Tina Ann Churn-Jones was born August 30, 1962 to Roberta McCracken and Winthrop Taylor. She was the second oldest of seven children. Tina was a member of sweetleaf UP Baptist Church.
Tina grew up in Louisville Kentucky and attended Iroquois high school where She was very athletic and played basketball that’s where she grew her love for Louisville Cardinals basketball team she is a diehard Louisville fan. She never missed a game , after Tina graduated. She had all sorts of adventures until she decided to put herself in school and learn how to weld from then on Tina’s adventure took off. She became my iron worker which had her traveling all over the country. Her most proudest moments was building the Yum center downtown.
when you seen Tina, she always had a screwdriver or a wrench
in her hand she will go from rebuilding her motorcycle engine to building a second bathroom for the home. That was her hobby. That’s what she did in her spare time.
She was a wonderful mother to her children and even more to her grand children
Tina was proceeded in death by her mother Roberta McCracken, her father Winthrop Taylor, her sister Sonja Taylor and Brother, Ricky Taylor and Michael Taylor grandson LaDonn Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Vashia Taylor, Jay Vana Taylor her sons Michael Churn Jr. Marcus Churn grandchildren Kay-Teeonia Alvis, Aaliyah-Joann Gill, William Gill IV, Kapri Berryman-Churn, Ja’Lylah Thomas Zariyah Booth and GreatGrand child Julian Robinson
Siblings Mia Taylor Winthrop Taylor, Dujuan Taylor and a host of cousins, nephews nieces and friends
