Timothy "Tim" A. Gladin, of New Albany, Indiana, was born on June 28, 1957, and passed away on August 16, 2025, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He lived a life filled with passion for both his profession and the people around him, leaving behind fond memories and a legacy that will not be forgotten.
Tim made a career laying asphalt, a job he enjoyed immensely. His commitment to his work reflected his strong work ethic and contributed to the infrastructure of his community, leaving a tangible mark on the roads traveled by many. An alumnus of New Albany High School, he carried his pride for his education throughout his life, believing in the value of hard work and dedication.
Beyond his career, Tim embraced a wide array of interests that brought joy to his life. He had a profound love for music and was often found playing his guitar, sharing his passion with family and friends. An ardent fan of NASCAR and all types of racing, he eagerly followed his favorite sports teams, including basketball teams from U of L and IU. Tim had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, enjoying time spent cooking and engaging with his loved ones.
Tim is survived by his beloved companion, Cindy Isler, his sons Nathan Gladin and Nicholas (Brittany) Gladin, and his cherished grandchildren Makenna, Parker, Henry, and a granddaughter on the way, Eleanor. He was a devoted brother to Donnie (Patrice) Gladin, Kenny (Abby) Gladin, and Eddie Gladin, and is lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law, Robin Anderson, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, James Gladin; mother, Lois Anderson; and brothers, Jimmie Gladin and Steve Anderson. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who cherished him, but his spirit and love will continue to inspire those he left behind.
A visitation for Tim will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150. The funeral service will take place on the same day, starting at 6:00 PM. Friends and family are warmly welcomed to gather and share in the celebration of Tim’s life, as they honor a remarkable man whose legacy will live on through the stories shared and the lives he touched.
