Timothy L. Paul

Timothy L. Paul, 69, of Floral City, Florida, formerly of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Tim was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Citrus County, Florida. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Kentucky Truck Plant, after 31 years of service. He will be lovingly remembered as husband, father, and "Poppy" to his 6 grandchildren. During his life, you may have seen him fishing at Patoka Lake, having an ice cream cone at Berry Twist, helping someone by fixing or painting their cars out in his garage, or stomping on the deck and calling in the fish to feed them. He enjoyed watching the stocks and laughing at reruns of old tv shows, but most of all, he loved wearing the T-shirts his grandkids made him and filling them up with candy.

He was born on December 13, 1951, in Clarksville, Indiana, to the late Robert and Irene (Blevins) Paul. Along with his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brother, J. Kevin Paul.

Tim is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 50 years, Mary (Wimsatt) Paul; his children, Lisa (Nick) Romeo and T. Michael Paul; his grandchildren, Olivia, Lily, Nathan, Jacob, Alayna, and Gabe Romeo; his siblings, Carmen (Ron) West and Anthony Paul; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen in regards to Tim's wishes.

The family requests that contributions in Tim's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
