Timothy Michael Curry, known to many as “Tim”, passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 52. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 8, 1973, Timothy was the beloved son of Michael David and Janice Severs Curry. His life, rich with love and vibrant enthusiasm, leaves a gentle imprint on the hearts of all who knew him.
He graduated from Southern High School and he found community and spiritual belonging as a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Those who loved Tim know his heart was always open to animals. His gentle compassion extended not only to his family and friends but also to every living creature he encountered. Whether he was lending a hand to a stray or finding joy in the simple company of pets, his unwavering kindness spoke volumes about the man he was. Among his many passions were shooting and collecting Star Wars memorabilia, pursuits that brought excitement and camaraderie into his days. Tim’s zest for life was matched by his appreciation for the worlds both real and imagined, leading to lasting friendships, memorable adventures, and shared stories that will continue to inspire smiles among those who cherish his memory.
Tim is survived by his parents, Michael David and Janice Severs Curry. Left to hold his bright legacy are his cherished daughter, Kierstyn Curry, and his loving sister, Meda “Lori” Curry-Roller (Dave). A steadfast source of encouragement and affection in his life was his girlfriend Chris Lueken and her Sallie, as well as his treasured nieces, Jalynn Roller-Plowman and Addison Plowman. He is warmly remembered by two special aunts, Jo Curry and Shirley Bratcher, and by his lifelong friend and cousin, Keith Durbin. Many other family members and dear friends will forever carry Tim in their hearts, grateful for the warmth, laughter, and compassion he brought into their lives.
Timothy’s passing reunites him with his grandparents, Ernest and Meda Curry, George and Thelma Severs, and his niece, Andrea Roller Plowman, who all preceded him in death.
Those who knew Tim will always remember his capacity for joy, his openness to laughter, and his boundless love for the people and animals fortunate enough to cross his path. Though gone too soon, Timothy Michael Curry’s spirit remains present in every story shared, every smile remembered, and every act of kindness inspired by his memory.
Timothy’s family and friends now look to each other for comfort, united in their love for a man whose presence brightened the world. As they gather to celebrate his life, they do so with gratitude for the precious time spent together and the indelible legacy of love and generosity that Tim leaves behind.
