Timothy Anthony Bentfield

Timothy Anthony Bentfield, 74, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. He retired from Diageo Americas Supply, Inc., in Louisville after 44 years of service. Tim was a great storyteller and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He liked to grill and also enjoyed fishing.

He was born on March 3, 1947, in Batesville, Indiana, to Bertrand and Olivia (Ferkenhoff) Bentfield. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Prentice, Jeanette Bedel, and Chuck Bentfield.

Tim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane (Wissel) Bentfield; sons, Scott, Doug (Karen), Chad (Jennifer), and Brad (Kim) Bentfield; and grandchildren, Olivia, Chace, Quinn, Kate, and Anna.

Tim will be laid to rest privately at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Contributions in his memory may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children (520 W. Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202).
